Schack Art Center November 2019

We had a wonderful tour of Schack Art Center in Everett by Jules Anslow

Please join us 10 a.m. October 17, 2019 for a presentation by Jim Redding at the Anacortes Senior Activity Center

Jim Redding, local artist and instructor, will demonstrate the fine art of multicolored wood cut printing.

We welcome new members and guests. A $5 guest donation is appreciated and can be applied to the $20 annual membership.

Melanie is an artist in collage and colored pencil. She loves to draw animals and it shows in her pet portraits.

Her paintings are renowned for realism and detail, but her soulful connection to her subjects is what makes them come alive. The play of light on water, whether glowing with strong contrast, or misty and soft, creates tranquil dramas that convey the poignancy of everyday coastal life.
